EYEBROWS EYEBROWS EYEBROWS!!!

Everybody is obsessed with their eyebrows nowadays and if you're any way like me and over plucked your eyebrows in your youth and now have very thin eyebrows, filling them in daily is a must do. I always found it hard to find a good product that stays put.

I've tried out lots of brow pencils and shadows to fill in those patchy parts but none I actually love, as I find they all wear off too quickly and being a mommy to a 2 year old, my eyebrow make up usually is the first to suffer and disappear halfway through the day..

I've been using a new product for the last week and Its one that I really like and that actually stays on for the duration of the day.

It's an eyeliner gel from Inglot. I tried it out in the store and the girl recommended a colour for me, which was 90. There are brighter and darker shades so your best to go and have it done by the make up artist in the store to be sure of the correct colour for you.

It cost €16 and the tub should last a long time as you don't need to use too much.
This gel is also waterproof so great for summertime.

I apply the gel to my brow with a small angled brow brush by Mac number 208 by lightly dabbing the brush in the gel and then wiping the excess gel away on a cotton pad or tissue.

This brush is great to define a shape on the brow. When your happy with the shape just continue to fill the rest in lightly. Don't overdo it on the gel as you really only need to use a small amount, as it does give good coverage.

I'm really impressed with this gel. So any of you ladies out there looking for a decent eyebrow product, this one is definitely worth considering!!

Coconut Oil..

We've all heard lately about the benefits of coconut oil. So Ive tried and tested one from "Ultrapure  Laboratories" I got this one from a local pharmacy Pellys and was inexpensive at just €5.84 for 100g and from what I've used this tub should last a long time.

This coconut oil is for external use only.

So when I opened the tub, it looked like a big lump of hard wax, I swirled my finger around the top and it started to melt, but quite slowly. At the time the radiator was on, so I sat the tub on top of the radiator for a minute and half the tub had melted, this was the perfect consistency I was after.

Although there are instructions on the tub on how to melt the oil properly "in a bowl of hot water" So I recommend you follow the instructions given on the label.

After washing, cleansing and toning my face, I put a very small amount of the oil onto my fingers and moisturized it well into my skin, avoiding the eye area. You only need to use a very small amount on your face as you want the oil to be absorbed into your skin. Even after 10 minutes of having the oil on, my face felt a lot softer. I left this on overnight.

I then pored some of the melted oil onto my hand and ran my fingers through my hair, I did this a couple of times until my hair was well oiled up. I also put a good amount directly onto my scalp and massaged it in, I then brushed it right through, tied my hair up and left this overnight also.

The next morning after two good long shampoo washes my hair felt so soft and nourished, it really worked well as a hair treatment.

My face also felt really soft and smooth.

Would definitely recommend you give this coconut oil a try, it works surprisingly well for both treatments.

Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Spray Tan

Summer is here and more of our bodies are on show so it's time to tan those white bits.

Cocoa brown 1 hour spray tan is a good way to go. It's the most talked about tan in town and was a big hit at the oscars too this year.

Melissa Carter has done good.

Cocoa brown tan is advertised at, 1 hour for a light tan, 2 hours for a medium tan or 3 hours for a dark tan. I'm not brave enough to wash it off after just 1 hour or 3 hours for that matter. I leave it on over night for maximum results. Although it says it stops developing after 3 hours.

It has a really nice shade to it, it doesn't make you look orange and it is a nice smelling tan too, there's no strong curry odour from it, which is always a bonus.

It can be used on sensitive skin but patch testing a new tan is always recommended and it's also safe for pregnant women which is great news for all those yummy mummy's to be.

The tan can last up to 5 days, then gradually exfoliating is recommended to remove the tan. It wears off well too, I hate that patchy look when tan is coming off, but this is actually not that bad. Moisturize daily and it will stay nicer for longer.

So get those appointments booked ladies, this is one definitely worth trying.
