The Body Shop.. Eye Care with Camomile Eye Make Up Remover and Drops OfYouth, Eye Concentrate!!

Eye care is so important as the skin around our eyes is so very delicate, so it's important to remove your eye make up properly without having to scrub and drag your eyes and the delicate skin that surrounds them.

I know it's easy and convenient to grab a face-wipe and remove make up this way, but I find this way drags your skin and sometimes makes you loose a few lashes too which is never good thing.

I've been using this Camomile gentle eye make up remover and It's soo good, it effortlessly removes eye makeup from your lids and lashes in a few simple wipes and leaves them feeling soft and clean with no panda eyes in the morning. It's even great on stubborn waterproof mascara. I honestly can't believe how good this one is, if your a fan of make up removers this is a must have.

I've also been using Drops Of Youth Eye Concentrate. This is a fantastic little product, it can be used morning and night. 

I love these kind of eye products that you can use before you apply your make up in the mornings. The skin around your eye looks and feels instantly firmer which is great. It drys in quickly too which is a bonus. You can also use this before you apply your regular eye cream. This product is enriched with Edelweiss plant stem cells and is renowned for its skin renewal properties.

Who knew a good play mat would be so hard to find? Something as simple as a play mat should be easy to come across. Yes? 

Noooo!!! Would be the answer to that..

We've gone through quite a few types of play mats in our house and none seem to be very suitable for the task involved. 

My 3 year old spends his days playing on the floor, either it's with lego or super hero figures and I'm conscious of him being comfortable while playing down there, as I know when I'm playing on the floor with him, I'm not very comfortable. So plays mats are the way to go. 

The problem I've found with the play mats we've used before are, for example:

This Peppa Pig play mat. The picture speaks for itself. The image just peeled away. It didn't help having those little fingers help it along the way, but as soon as he realised it did this, that was that. A little bit more each day was disappearing. Not a pretty sight to have to look at in your home. This one wasn't cheap either. 

The alphabet play mat. Again the picture says it all really. The numbers pop out, as he's only 3, he's more curious than anything, it wasn't about learning the numbers it was all about popping them out, so what once was a play mat, then became, foam panels with holes. Not ideal to sit and play on. More suitable for an older child I would imagine.

So it leaves us with this one were currently using from TheGardenShop.ie I'm feeling hopeful as there are no pictures to peel away and there are no numbers to pop out. Yayyyy!!!!

MeMeMe.. Arch Angel..

I absolutely love a good eyebrow product and this duo eyebrow godsend from MeMeMe is fantastic. 

We all love a good well presented, arched brow and god knows we need a quick and easy way of achieving this in the mornings and this product helps do just that. 

The gel helps sculpt and define your brows into shape while adding a tint of colour. It leaves them looking fuller and thicker and the gel holds the brows in shape all day. 

The opposite end contains a highlighting cream for under the brow bone, it has a slight shimmering finish and you can really open the eyes up by adding this to the inner corners of your eyes. It really helps create that flawless definition we all seek. I love this end of the arch angel it's so pretty.

The Body Shop.. Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser & Enhancer.

I'm not a fan of this time of year when it comes to my skin. The sun kissed look is well and truly gone and my skin feels tired and dry. So I was excited to try these Vitamin c enhanced products by The Body Shop. 

The Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser is a wonder gel. I love gel moisturisers anyway, but this one is so nice and feels so refreshing on my skin. My skin feels Energised and it's  lightweight formula fights signs of fatigue so my skins looks like it has a little healthy glow back even in this chilly autumn weather. Of course being a body shop product, it's smells so good too.

Vitamin C Instant Glow Enhancer. This is a gem of a product, it's an instant healthy glow in a tube.  It leaves your skin feeling so smooth all while giving you a healthy glow. 

You apply a small amount to your skin after you moisturise and touch up whenever needed through out the day.

Holos.. Skincare From Nature!!

Have you tried these fantastic handmade products from Holos?

I've been using the Body Oil and Hand Cream from the Love Your Skin Range and I'm now hooked. 

The Body Oil is amazing, I mostly use body oil at night as I like to massage the oil into my skin as much as possible and let it soak in for a few minutes before dressing. This is a really great one. It's made from Rose, Palmerosa, Benzoin & Frankincense essential oils and Sweet Almond Oil.
