Flourish... Irish Organic Beauty at it's finest.

For the last 2 weeks I've been using this beautiful vitamin E face cream from the Flourish organics range which are handmade in Ireland.

This face cream is for dry to normal skin. It's rich in vitimin E which is an antioxidant and is made from all the good oils, hemp, almond, olive and it's scented with lavender to name just a few.

This cream cost €14 for 50mls, I've been using it twice a day for 14 days and I've only used a small amount so far so this jar will last a long time, which is fantastic value for money for a great quality product.

My face feels smooth and nourished after using this cream and it smells so nice. I feel like I've had a facial treatment after using it, it's that nice.

I've also tried out the "eye contour cream" "the facial polish" "the body scrub" "the foot lotion" and have sampled the "rose cream". They're all equally amazing. The smell of the body scrub is unbelievable, it's so beautiful, this is just one of my favourites. The list of products they sell is fantastic, I'm such a fan, there is something for everyone.

Take a look at the website, they have some amazing beauty products.

Green Angel

Beauty & Wellbeing From The Ocean.

For the last 2 weeks I've been using these amazing products from Green Angel. These products are handmade in Ireland with pure irish seaweed.

Seaweed body lotion with Neroli and Chamomile.

This body lotion is so nice, it's slightly watery in consistency but this is a good thing, as it drys in really quick, which is a major bonus for me. It smells really lovely, it's like that smell you get from a beauty salons treatment room, I love that. This lotion costs €15 for 200mls. I've been using this lotion generously at least once a day for 14 days and I'm a little over half way through the bottle. My skin feels great after using this lotion, it feels really soft. I'm a huge fan.

Argan body oil with Geranium and Neroli oils.

This oil is great, it's absorbed really quickly and smells absolutely fantastic, I actually look forward to using this oil. Argan Oil is anti ageing and great for cellulite and my skin feels really moisturized and nourished. It costs €20 for 200mls. I've been using this oil daily for 14 days and I've two thirds of the bottle left, so it lasts quite a while which is great.

I absolutely adore these products, the smell of them alone would make me buy them again and again, but overall my skin is in great condition from daily use.

Check out the website, www.greenangel.ie for a stockist near you, but you'll see these Green Angel products about, so try them out ladies, you'll love them!!

Chocolate Whip & Tough Stuff!!!

Two fantastic products from the Cocoa Brown range. These can be bought everywhere, Cocoa Brown products seem to be in every shop at the moment. I bought these from  Tescos.

The Tough Stuff is a really great body scrub, it can be used on wet or dry skin 2-4 times a week. It does exactly what it says on the bottle, it removes any old stubborn false tan patches from those awkward parts, it's actually works!! It's tough but not tough in a bad way. It leaves your skin feeling so clean and soft. This cost €7.99 for 200mls.

The Chocolate Whip is so lovely, it smells delis. It "extends the life of your tan and ensures an even fade"
I love this body moisturiser, it really does help with fading tan as it doesn't contain any oil. Definitely one worth trying ladies. This cost €5.99 for 200mls.

Definitely recommended using both these products together, you'll love the results.

Impulse buys!!

I'm such an impulse buyer, I always grab things last minute while standing at the till.

So I've got bought these products while at the till in Lloyds pharmacy.

Argan oil shampoo & conditioner and  Tea tree & peppermint deep moisturising hand pack.

The Argan oil shampoo & conditioner was on special offer, €3.50 for both and the Tea tree hand pack was €1.99.

I've been using the shampoo & conditioner for over 10 days now and I have to say, I'm not a fan. It doesn't make a lot of foam in my hair while washing it, so i tend to have to use quite a lot and over all I don't think my hair does be very clean after using it, I don't have that newly washed look, it's feels quite dull and flat. I definitely wouldn't buy this again.

I'm not great with using hand cream, I always forget, so my hands tend to suffer quite a bit, having a 2 year old son my hands are in and out of water a lot and they get very dry. This hand pack is great, it's just 2 gloves filled with the Tea tree and peppermint treatment, you leave the gloves on for 20 minutes. My hands felt and looked great after using this, they felt so moisturised. This is a great buy and at €1.99 it's well worth it. I'll definitely be picking more of these up for sure.

Protect & Perfect!!

I love a good face serum, if I think it's going to work I'll buy it.

I don't want to get bad wrinkles any time soon, so I'm willing to try them all.

I've gone for the No 7 Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Serum

It's so popular at the moment and is advertised absolutely everywhere, so I thought it time to put it to the test.
It cost €33 from boots.

I've been using this serum day and night now for 14 days. I put it on before my face cream, I also make sure it's well dried in before I apply my face cream, although it does dry really quickly, it's not oily or greasy in any way, it feels really light.

I really like this serum, it makes my skin feel so smooth and soft.

On the box it says visibly younger looking skin after 2 weeks.

I honestly can see a small difference, the lines on my forehead have faded slightly, which is great. Result!!

I just love how it makes my skin feel. I'm definitely a fan and would 100% buy this product again.  I'm excited to see what it's like after 4 weeks!!

GLOSSYBOX!!!

Have you heard of this?

It's such a fantastic idea, if your buying for yourself or as a gift for someone, it's such a nice thing to receive in the post.

You basically order on line at Glossybox.com and fill in your beauty preferences. You can sign up to a one off box or you can choose a 3 monthly subscription, 6 monthly etc. You can update your beauty profile too so your preferences change with the monthly deliveries.

I choose the one off box first as I wanted to see what it was like before I committed to a subscription. It cost €17.02 for this box including postage. I was so excited when this came in the post and couldn't wait to see what was inside.

I wasn't dissapointed!!

How great are the contents!!

This is a really nice BB cream from Garnier, love the colour, easy to apply, I apply it with my real techniques miracle complexion sponge work brilliantly. Wears really well too.

Tried this velvet smooth night mask 3 nights in a row now and it's really good. My feet feel really smooth, it's such a thick cream so I put socks on after I use it to get the full effect.

Don't wear false nails, I'm a shellac girl through and through so maybe I'll pass these to my mom to try out? Mom?

Love love love this mascara, I'm a big Rimmel mascara fan anyway, but never tried this exact one, it's really great, will definitely buy this again.

This is a lovely colour lipstick, not usually something I would buy normally, but love the colour, only need to use a small amount, then a bit of gloss. Perfect!!

This is worth well over €17, you would pay alot more if you were to buy these individually. They're great products too, products that you would buy yourself, so I'm very happy with my "Glossybox"

I will definitely be ordering more of these, I love this idea. It's brilliant!!

PIXY become enchanted by the magic..

I have done just that.

Oh I love, love, love these products. They're just so pretty and nice and they smell really beautiful. They're all handmade in Ireland and made from natural products. They contain lovely ingredients such as essential oils and vitamin E to name a few.

There website is easy to use and they deliver for free within Ireland on orders over €10, which is great.

The Strawberry Shower Moose is so lovely, it costs €12.95 for 300ml, this stuff is amazing, it comes in the cutest jar and tucked under the lid is a sponge too. It's so nice to use and it smells beautiful. I literally smelt of strawberries for hours. I'm in love with this shower moose.

I've also tried the Lime Body Scrub Cubes, they cost €4.95 for 6 cubes. They're absolutely brilliant, they're a little  soap exfoliator, so you scrub your skin with the rough side of the cube. They left my skin really smooth. They're also really good for removing fake tan from stubborn patchy areas.

I've also used the bath bombs, I love bath bombs, so far I've tried the tutti fruity one, it's really nice and turned my bath pink, love it.. These cost €3.45 but they have lots of other scented ones too..

I absolutely love these Pixy products there really lovely.

I definitely recommended you check this company out because we all deserve nice things and these Pixy products are soooo nice.

They would make really beautiful presents too. The gift sets look amazing and it's something different and I love supporting irish companies.

Take a look at there website Pixy.ie
You can order online or get a list of local stockists.

You'll love these products..

Chanel nail polish, tried & tested!!

We all love Chanel.

Every now and then it's perfectly okay to splash out on something designer. We deserve it!!

I've got my hands on the highly sought after Chanel Eastern lights nail polish.

White nail polish is very popular and so it should be, it's so pretty for summer.

This cost €23 from the Chanel counter in Arnotts, Dublin.

White nail colours of any kind, be it polish or shellac is quite transparent, so 3 coats is a must.

So that's what I did, I sat down for nearly 45 minutes to try this polish out. I have not worn nail polish in such a long time as I'm a shellac fanatic, but for this, I was willing to make an exception.

I gave this polish 3 coats, gave it plenty of time in between coats to make sure it was dry. It possibly could have done with a 4th coat but I draw the line at 3. It was easy enough to apply, wasn't too thick.

I love the colour, It's such beautiful shade of white, really pretty. Not too harsh or didn't have that tipex look. I love it.

What I don't love is that it's like every other nail polish I've ever worn, it was chipped within a few hours.  This really disappoints me as it's takes so long to put it on and to let it completely dry. Even with a quick drying spray. For it to chip so fast.

The fact that it's so expensive for a polish, you automatically expect it to wear better than other cheaper polishes. Sadly this isn't the case.

I need my shellac back and fast!!

Concealer change up!!!

I've bought a new concealer from the No7 range at boots because i liked the packaging!!!

Is that wrong? Oops..
I did of course check the colour out before i bought it, so it was all good!!
It's called "No7 stay perfect blemish cover" The colour I choose is "Warm Ivory"

I really like these types of concealers, I find them really easy to use and blending in isn't a problem, once you choose the correct colour for your skin type. It's always best to get the store attendants advise when buying foundations and concealers. There's nothing worst, when something isn't suitable after buying it, as you cannot bring make up back.

This concealer works really great over blemishes, covers them up completely and wears really well..

It also works brilliantly for under eye makeup. After I apply my foundation I use this under my eyes and blend it in, it's so easy to blend and you don't have to use a lot, it takes that white under eye look away.

1- No concealer
2- How much I use
3- Blended in
4- Powder finish

I'm really happy with this buy and at €9.75 it's quite affordable, as these types of concealers last a long time so you definitely get your money's worth.

Scandaleyes!!!

I seen this Rimmel eyeliner pack in Lloyds pharmacy and I was very excited to open the box and have a look at the products.

€7.99 for a waterproof gel eyeliner with a professional brush.. Bargain!!!

I absolutely love gel eyeliners, I have pencils, pen liners, liquid liners, but my favorite are definitely gel liners. They're a lot easier to use than the rest, applied with a good brush, it's so easy to glide the liner on without any hassle.

This Rimmel gel liner is great, I found it really easy to use. You can go from a defined look to a more dramatic look very easily by drawing a thin or thick line from the inner to the outer corners of your eyes.

I got my line first time, there was no smudging or mess, the brush is quite easy to use, I'd usually use a mac angled brush for this type of gel liner, but I was pleasantly surprised with this little brush and how well it worked.

It wore quite well, there was no transfer to my upper lid and I tried it out on a hot day too. It also washed off easily enough with a regular make up remover wipe.

This gel liner is also suitable for sensitive eyes and for contact wearers.

This definitely gets a thumbs up from me!

I Love Blush!!!

I wanted to try something new as I always seem to be drawn to powder blushes and i seen this cream blusher by No7.

I fell in love with the colour so I had buy it and try it out.

Its called Pop and Glow Cream Blush and the colour is Rose Blossom. It cost €12.50 from Boots.

The colour is just so pretty and perfect for summer. It's compact too, so easy to pop in your handbag and no brush required as you apply the blush straight to your cheeks as it's crayon shaped, then blend with your fingers.

I applied the cream blush to my cheeks, it glides on and blends in quite easily. I blended it with 2 fingertips. I did this twice on each cheek as I like a lot of blush. It didn't take long to apply at all and I was really impressed with how it looked.

However I did find that it wore of more quickly than my usual mac powder blush. In saying that I loved the colour on my cheeks, it was really pretty.

They have alot more colours in boots too, so go take a look ladies, there's a colour to suit everyone.

Happy blush shopping!!

Real Techniques Make Up Brushes!!

I've needed a new foundation brush for a few weeks now, so I've gone for the highly recommended Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and the Miracle Complexion Sponge.

I bought these products in Boots, the brush was €13 and the sponge was €6.

I was really excited to try these out as I heard and read so many good things about them.

Both these products worked really well, I preferred the brush a little bit more than the sponge but that's only because I'm more comfortable using a brush. The sponge worked really well too, I can't fault it but the brush definitely wins.

The brush worked effortlessly with a liquid foundation, it gives a really smooth flawless look, no brush marks and no shedding. It's really lightweight and easy to use and it has a flat end to the brush so you can stand it up when your finished using it.

I love this brush, it's my new favorite make up bag must have.

Go buy this brush, it's that good!!
